Buba Galadima discloses region to produce Buhari’s successor
The Reformed-All Progressive Congress (R-APC) National Chairman, Engr. Buba Galadima, disclosed that in 2023 President Muhammadu Buhari will hand over authority to somebody from the Southwest region.
Galadima, who used to be President Buhari’s die-hard associate, said the president was working to set up a Southern Extraction president in 2023.
According to the former chief of the APC, Buhari had difficulty gathering the information required to enable the government to remain in the North after 2023.
“I believed Buhari, at least some portion of the South, was working for the South. That’s what every northerner thinks, “Galadima, now in the Atiku Abubakar and PDP camp, informed Sun.
Speaking of Babachir Lawal’s latest statement that the North will not give up authority because nothing like zoning existed, Galadima added, “Forget about Babachir Lawal. I don’t speak of Babachir Lawal. I speak of Buhari and of myself or the North.
“I wouldn’t really understand what you’re considering as the North. But I think most northerners think that Buhari works only in the interests of some southern segment.
“You should find out which segment benefits more than any group.[talking about the Southwest ]”
Asked about Buhari’s chance of playing with the Southerners ‘ intelligence, he said, “Well, I wish he had that intelligence to do that. I wish you that.”
“I’ve never thought in zoning. Nigeria, the man with the biggest heart and the man who will work for the country, rather than for himself or those close to him, should always be the best.
“For me, that doesn’t matter. I’m going to help her if Iyabo Obasanjo wishes to contest elections and I think she’s the best.
